4 reviews for Introduction to digital media

    1. A good introductory course for those who either know nothing at all about digital media or those who want to refresh their memories. I would have liked some sort of test at the end though, to reinforce the knowledge, and it would have been useful to download the glossary to keep.

    2. As someone who’s worked in digital media for a few years already, I took this course to learn any terminologies or concepts that had passed me by.It did a good job of clarifying such things, and though I found some of it self-evident, starters in digital media will not – and they’ll be the ones who find everything here that they need to know to get going.

    3. This was an excellent introduction to the digital world, which is everywhere you turn. Even the bits I DID already know, which were quite a few, were interesting as they weren’t patronising. It struck a good balance and has inspired me to build on what I have learnt.

    4. First class course. I’m already doing a bit of social media, but I still picked up many helpful and useful tips on this low-cost course, which I would highly recommend to anyone on the brink of improving or establishing a new digital presence. Thank you!

    1. This was a great course to get an idea of what PR writing involves and examples on how to achieve a successful article. It was also very helpful to be able to get feedback from the trainer on a PR I wrote for my company.

    2. Really comprehensive course, great for introducing the basic principles. Useful exercise at the end to put everything into practice. Would recommend.

    3. I enjoyed the course, and its user-friendly nature – being able to do it as and when I was able to was really useful. Most of the content was familiar to me, but it was an effective recap and I’d definitely recommend it to people as a good and flexible way to get a grounding in the principles of PR writing.

    1. This course has improved my proofreading and made me more confident in my abilities. The course itself is clear and easy to understand, but the best part is the feedback. Seeing each error outlined and explained has helped me exponentially! I’ll definitely be referring back to my notes for this course!

    2. I have been a writer/editor/proofreader for 17 years and, on occasion, take refresher courses to keep my skills sharp. The proofreading class offered by ContentECTC was very informative, contained challenging exercises, and touched on aspects of proofreading that many e-learning classes omit, such as how to best prepare to proofread and determining the best environment in which to proofread. Those aspects are just as important as proofreading fundamentals like grammar and punctuation. I highly recommend this e-learning course.

    3. I found this course very helpful. I certainly learnt some things about how I was proofreading and some new tricks for the future. It took tight amount of time too. Many thanks. (Would it be funny if I put loads of howling errors in this post? No? Oh.)

    4. I really enjoyed the course, I found it easy to follow and the feedback element was really useful. I would recommend it to anyone interested in learning or polishing up their proofreading skills.

4 reviews for Top 20 grammar mistakes and how to fix them

    1. I found the course helpful and informative. I was able to take notes and replay if I did not fully understand without feeling rushed.

    2. The course was very helpful and refreshing. It made for clear understanding of some confusing aspects of grammar. The style of teaching was very interesting and easy to understand. What i particularly loved, is the provision to go at your pace and to go back at any time. However,I would also suggest an expansion of the course to include more grammar mistakes and not just 20. Because there are loads of other mistakes people make, that are yet to be discussed.

    3. The course was very helpful particularly the quizzes at the end to review your learning. Also great that you are still able to access the course after completion; very handy if you want to check something at a later date.

    4. A great way to refresh all the things I learnt at school. I particularly enjoyed the teaching style which allowed me to make notes, without feeling rushed
