It’d be very easy to think that ‘image’ is all that matters today.
How you present yourself on social media.
The bold claims you make on behalf of your organisation.
So, image is clearly important, and something you should try and control.
Even more important is the perceived ‘gap’ between your image and your reality.
Recognising that you are still evolving, developing, and learning.
Acknowledging that you are not perfect.
This is the first step toward achieving an authentic voice.
A voice that is more likely to be listened to.
Crucially, a voice that is much more likely to be believed.
This is not a science.
Or even a mystery.
It’s a craft, and one that we know how to teach.
