We’re really excited about our new partnership with the Professional Publishers Association (PPA) to offer two new journalism certificates.
Here’s what’s happening:
We at ContentETC have partnered with the PPA to develop and launch two new journalism certificates, available online and designed for writers and journalists who want to earn recognised journalism credentials.
These new certificates are designed to revolutionise journalism training, as for the first time there is no need to attend classes, subscribe to webinars, or seek sponsorship or support from employers. Aspiring writers and working journalists will be able to study and earn the Certificates in their own time and at their own speed.
The brand new PPA Foundation Certificate in Journalism is aimed at junior or inexperienced writers, and features a comprehensive suite of e-learning courses with tutorials and expert feedback from ContentETC’s own trainers. The flexible learning format is deliberately designed to appeal to students worldwide, as all they will need to complete the 12 month course is internet access.
The 6-month Professional Certificate in Journalism is an updated online version of the already established PPA Certificate, and allows working journalists and writers to test their skills and proficiency levels. Working across six core journalism topics, students compile an online workbook which is then assessed by ContentETC experts. These assessments, combined with a range of online exams, provide students who successfully complete all six topics with the PPA Professional Certificate in Journalism.
The PPA and ContentETC will market these new Certificates throughout the UK and internationally. They will be promoting the unique aspects of both courses, including the freedom to study anywhere and at any time, the absence of any classroom sessions or webinars, and the freedom to earn these independently accredited Certificates without the need for any employer sponsorship or management mentoring.
